National Sales Manager

Position Purpose:

Synthax seeking an experienced Nationals Sales Manager who will be responsible for growing all segments of the market and dealer sales by developing strong relationships with customers that fit our growth strategy. This position requires the ability to acquire new customers, develop and maintain business with existing customers and manage sales and large projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of departmental budgets, sales goals, and help develop marketing programs.



Job Responsibilities:

• Develop a business plan for existing customers and strategic targeted customers
• Develop relationships with customers
• Assist in planning, implementing and tracking of sales programs and promotions
• Set and achieve sales targets
• Provide adequate and timely communications regarding territory performance,
   distribution concerns and any changes that may affect performance
• Develop relationships with territory rep firms
• Train rep firms on the different products offered by creating a clear understanding
   of what our products are, who our competition is and any obstacles
• Review rep firms sales progress by evaluating reports, new business, sample activities
   and opportunities in their perspective territories
• Provide key competitive information, industry trends and product development
   ideas to appropriate personnel
• Travel as needed to maintain relationships with key dealers and rep firms
   as well as add value to the company selling process
• Travel to trade shows and other key industry events as needed
• Negotiate pricing scenarios and requests with guidelines established by Senior Management


Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+years of regional and national sales manager experience
   with demonstrated skills in selling and generating high level of revenue
• Proven history of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Must have demonstrated negotiation skills and be a strong closer
• Excellent networking and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Persuasive presentation and communication skills
• Maintain a strong repertoire of product knowledge
• Have a love of the music industry (ie Musician, producer, Audio sound)


Desired Qualifications:

• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
• Respond to common inquires or complaints from customers
• Effectively present information to top management

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
• Willingness to work in a home office
